When I started this course, I said I wanted to become more confident using my camera and to start seeing everyday moments as meaningful photographs. I hoped to understand how to tell a story visually and learn from influential photographers. Throughout this class, I experimented with new techniques, learned to compose stronger images, and became more aware of light, color, and framing. I’ve definitely achieved my goals and more—I now notice small details that I used to overlook, and I feel more confident in both planning and shooting photos. This final project, where I emulated Stephen Shore, really tied everything together and showed me how I could apply what I’ve learned in a meaningful and creative way.
